Last week online marketing firm Kentico Software held its Kentico Connection conference in Prague for channel partners and end customers to get together for best practice seminars, case studies and knowledge sharing, as well as socialising.
As part of the 3-day event, CEO Petr Palas handed over a cheque to Olaug Bergseth, Strategic Partnerships and International Relations at The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for $41,500. Kentico collected this money by offering free base licenses for its Kentico 8 integrated marketing solution to customers that donated a minimum of $100.
Red Cross and Red Crescent will use the money to support its global readiness to respond to disasters and unexpected catastrophes, risk-reduction, long-term recovery and development programs. The IFRC provides support to more than 85 million people annually in disaster response and early recovery programs, and more than 97 million people every year in development programs worldwide.
