So do we want to be tracked? Apparently the answer is a good strong qualified yes.
Recent research by mobile technology start-up Alohar Mobile showed that 80% of 522 respondents to their survey would be open to having their location tracked by someone that they trust. As one might expect there were significant age related differences in how comfortable people were with location sharing. Somewhat surprisingly, the younger generation of 18 to 29-year olds were less comfortable than those who were 30 and over.
